i visited several personal blogs today (some belong to ppl i know). some are funny, some lack update, some gives me (what shi calls) second-hand embarrassment. haha. some ppl probably feel that writing in english gives better/cooler impression of their blogs but I SERIOUSLY DONT THINK SO.
okay i write mine in english - but thats cos my bahasa suck.
anyways i find bahasa very hm, how to say, not-less-boring than english. i really think young indons should force themselves to write in english just to sound cool like in those blogs i just read. really, its not how language works. all the more they are your blogs! theyre supposed to be your tool of yknow, letting out. to write yourself out, to express your thoughts and ideas and interests. how can you do all that if youre not even sure of what youre saying? how can you get the satisfaction of self-freedom if you restrict yourself in limited vocab and grammar knowledge?
so poor thing, i say. oh and i found many who copy-pasted fashion news onto their blogs. so un-cool. lol.
